Trailer Train "FBOX" 50-ft High Cube Boxcar
This new "S" Scale kit is a joint project designed by Ben Trousdale (Benn Central Shops) and printed by SMMW. "FBOX" reporting marks appeared after 2000. The above car was built in early 2004. Most still in service today.
This is a LIMITED RUN kit ... only pre-sold kits will be produced with no reruns planned. Don't miss out!
Custom decal artwork matches the above car series plus the italicized red "TTX" logo that appeared in March 2008. No other decals currently offered in the S scale market are suitable for this car.
SUPER-EASY kit to assemble ... add details to each end and attach to the body. Plug door is part of the body shell ... add printed rods and lever to complete. Brake system is a ONE-PIECE glue-on part with just (3) wires for brake rigging. Underframe and coupler boxes attach to body with screws.
**NEW** flexible resin is used to print fragile parts (steps, ladders, door rods, 1-piece drop-on ABDW brake system, etc.).
Pre-production parts are done. Pilot model construction begins late-June. Production printing begins late-July. Except for brake rods (wire) and Kadee screws, this is a completely 3D resin-printed kit with exquisite detail.
