NOTE: Photos show cast urethane parts that have been replaced with 3D resin-printed parts in "Medium Grey" color.
Designs are based on typical "paired C-channels" centersill construction dating from cars built in the 1920s but retained on rebuilt cars that ran until retired in the 1970s.
Kadee compatible box/cover combo fits 802/805-style couplers with SELF-CENTERING feature using Kadee's Phosphor Bronze coil spring. Kit includes (10) #0-48 x 3/8" screws, coupler box with "riveted" strap, and cover plate. Couplers & springs not included.

In the 1940s, the "paired C-channels" centersill construction was replaced with a single, formed "U" that remains the primary design on today's cars. This centersill style is shown in the two photos at right and described below.
